This project involved experimenting with shapes in order to create a cohesive family of characters. I named my typeface PHREAK. A "phreak" is someone that hacks into telecommunications systems. I chose this name because the overall product of what I designed reminded me of digital numbers on a calculator, clock, or phone. In the type specimen poster, I decided to show the modules I utilized as well as the range of characters pieced together with said modules. For the in use poster, I decided to put my own spin on redesigning a poster from The Matrix.
